AMPELITE – EASYCLICK PC
INSTALLATION
Only one side of the EasyClick sheet is UV protected, therefore ensure the sheeting is installed with the correct side facing up. Sheet ribs (flutes) must run vertically with the fall of the roof. Sheeting can be cut to length using a power saw fitted with a fine-tooth blade suitable for plastic. A craft knife can be used for cutting to width.
1. Cut to the required size.
2. Secure the panel onto each batten with a screw. In High Wind areas, an extra fastener may be required.
3. Match the next sheet edges carefully and press them into place with a “click.”
4. Apply a border of EasyClick Aluminium End Cap, in conjunction with a bead of Ampelite, Sealonce Polycarbonate a Sealent.
5. Please ensure the EasyClick End-Cap is installed with the drip edge facing down.
Only use sealants that are 100% compatible with polycarbonate sheeting; suitable sealants are available from Ampelite. The use of incorrect sealants will void warranties. For installation in curved applications, please contact Ampelite.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Handy tips
EasyClick sheeting is a non-trafficable material. Sheets should be handled with care to avoid damage to the surface and fully support sheeting while cutting.
Recycling and disposal
Polycarbonate sheeting is fully recyclable and can also be disposed of in a land fill.
Cleaning
Use only a soft brush and soapy water – no abrasives. To prevent possible staining, we recommend cleaning whenever bird soil is apparent.
